The trailer for capstone game Project Chronos. Developed at Sheridan College by Game Designers Andrew Sinclair and Bowen Deng. Programmers Jordan Jackson and Xavier Knoll. Artist Nic Phan.
Check out the game capstone project that I worked on primarily as a game designer and playtester in collaboration with programmers, an artist and another designer. Our game called Project Chronos (trailer below) is a Metroidvania platformer with time manipulation mechanics. The capstone project course goal was to develop a vertical slice game demo proof of concept. Game Level Design post graduate program at Sheridan College.
My role as a designer and playtester included the tasks of:
Developed games design including level metrics and greybox development
Co-authored game design documents writing document sections, story and world building elements
Documented weekly group meetings making notes for weekly progress reports
Combined the weekly progress reports of group members into weekly progress reports
Developed game audio by finding and creating audio including sound effects
Play tested game builds, to find bugs and flagged them for the programmers to patch
Coordinating and communicating with group members
